Terms of Service — MemoryVault Box Cloud

1. The Service

MemoryVault Box Cloud is a companion service for MemoryVault Box hardware owners, allowing you to back up, organize, and add details to photos you've scanned. The free tier currently includes storage for up to 500 photos per account. We may introduce paid tiers with additional features in the future; any such changes will be communicated clearly before they affect your account.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to create an account.

You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@memoryvaultbox.com.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of every photo and piece of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you as part of providing the Service — nothing more. We do not use your photos for any other purpose, including marketing, without your explicit permission.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the content you add to the Service, and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to upload
• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Storage limits and upgrades

The free tier includes a fixed amount of storage. If you exceed this limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade to continue uploading additional photos; existing photos already stored remain safely backed up regardless.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep MemoryVault Box Cloud available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We recommend keeping your original SD card or a separate backup of especially important photos.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet Poochie Ltd's liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service is limited. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting info@memoryvaultbox.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or via a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
